Kinja'd!!!

Tryin' to help out a friend with a 6.5 ft. bed in his truck. Best way to load his King Quad into the pickup bed? I was thinking ramps + strap but not exactly sure what's the best way to secure the ATV in the bed. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Buy a real truck.

Get an eight foot bed that never has to be made

does the bed not have any tie down points or hooks? Clearly the easiest answer. If you are worried about too much weight add a strap to each one. Ratchet straps are the absolute best.

When I load them into my truck (same 6.5' bed) I just ratchet strap them tight in the front, pulling forward, and pull them down in the rear with the attachment points already in the bed. Never had a problem.

There are hooks in every corner of the bed, Thanks for the ratchet straps suggestion.

two guys, one on each side of the quad and lift the front tires onto the tailgate, then lift the back tires and push into bed.

Or back truck up to a hill so tailgate rests on hill then drive the quad on.

These always work for me.

Then go to harbor freight and buy a pack of straps and make sure its tight.

The best thing is that they opened up HFT near me a few months ago. <3

They have a 6' ramp for sale, $45.

Yea i think its easier to lift it up into the bed or back up to a hill and use my $45 for gas.
